We have put together a golf event that everyone can play in regardless of your golf handicap
Four night’s lake front in town accommodation at Novotel Lakeside, daily buffet breakfast, three rounds of golf at two of NZ’s premier golf courses; Jacks Point and Millbrook Resort, includes golf with carts, range balls before play each day, on course lunch daily, professional tuition, players gift pack, excellent prizes, welcome function, nightly drinks and final night prize presentation dinner and drinks .There is a men’s and women’s individual stableford competition plus a special Husband and Wife – Partners trophy.
For the non -playing partners, you only need to step outside to find all the local attractions, shops, great restaurants , spa’s all at your door step to enjoy.
Tournament Competition
You don’t have to be a low handicap golfer to play in the tournament, you just need an official handicap.
There will be an individual women’s and men’s stableford competition with daily and overall prizes. As we expect to have a number of couples playing, there will be a special Husband and Wife / Partners trophy.
Couples / Partners will play in the same groups the first and second rounds and the final round will have all women and all men groups.
Queenstown’s premium lakefront hotel is nestled in one of the world’s premier four- season destinations, Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is a contemporary four-star hotel offering a choice of 273 guest rooms in a stunning unrivalled in-town lakefront location. The absolute lakefront location offers direct access to Lake Wakatipu. You may wish to upgrade to a alpine or lake view room.
Queenstown has some of the best golf courses in New Zealand. Millbrook is home to the NZ Golf Open and a good way to start the tournament on this friendly layout . The second and third rounds will be played at Jacks Point. This fantastic championship course overlooking the lake is arguably the best in Queenstown.
A full buffet breakfast is included daily during this event.
The event kicks with the welcome cocktail function and includes wines, beers and soft drinks plus a section of the chiefs canapes. During the tournament we have one hours drinks each evening at the hotels bar where the tournament score board will be on display.
After the final round of the event the tournament diner and prize presentation will take place at the hotel restaurant.
As the hotel is in the middle of town you have the opportunity to try some of Queentown’s excellent restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance of the hotel or try your luck at the Casino which is only a good 8 iron from your room.

We have only been able to secure enough space for a maximum of 56 golfers, this package will be offered initially to clients who attended last year’s Queenstown golf event then to our golf data base on a first booked basis.

6.30- 8.30am Breakfast at Elements Restaurant 11.30am The coach will depart hotel for Millbrook Resort on arrival pick up you cart , range balls will be available 1.15pm tournament briefing by the practice putting green then proceed to your starting hole 1.30pm Shotgun Start for round one of the tournament on the Remarkables Course during the round you will receive a lunch box and drink. 5.30pm finish golf time for a couple drinks at the bar before the bus departs to the hotel. 6.15pm Coach departs to the Novotel Lakeside 6.45- 7.45pm evening drinks at Elements Bar, check out the tournament score board |
