 Cambodia & Thailand

March 26th – April 6th

Play 8 rounds of golf in Cambodia & Thailand on some of Asia’s on best championship course

The best of Asia golf tour is designed for the real golf enthusiast, eight rounds of golf on some of the best championship course in Asia and play two tournaments. Just like playing the on the pro tour for 12 days, you will have your own caddy and cart for every round. The first tournament is Siem Reap Cambodia followed the Thailand Golf Classic in Hua Hin. Accommodation is at 5-star hotels throughout. Sokha Angkor Resort in Siem Reap Cambodia, Hilton Resort & Spa in Hua Hin and Westin Grande Hotel in Bangkok.

The tour kicks off on the 26th of March in Siem Reap, Cambodia and is limited to 36 golfers.

There are many destinations around the world where you can stay at a nice hotel and play golf for a week on good courses. However; there are very few exotic destinations that offer “3 world class golf courses”  luxury 5 star accommodation, amazing food and all in an area bursting with culture and history with Angkor Wat world heritage sites near by.

The Golf Courses in Cambodia

There are not many golf courses in Cambodia however the next 4 days we will play three of the best, Booyoung Country Club is a very good resort style golf course and not too difficult for the first round of the tour. The following two rounds are played on two of Asia’s best, Phokeethra Country Club venue for the Johnny Walker Classic and Angkor Resort Championship course , one of Nick Faldo’s finest designs, you won’t be disappointed.

Golf professional Richard Ellis will be on tour playing with the group, so plenty of free tips for those in need of a swing fix or slight tune up.

To Thailand

After 4 nights in Cambodia it’s time for part two of the Asian golf adventure with a flight to Thailand’s capital Bangkok.

On arrival at Bangkok Airport competitors will be met and transfer by coach down the motorway about 2.5 hours south of Bangkok to Hua Hin which is a former fishing village on the Gulf of Thailand and home to the Thai Royal family. Accommodation has been reserved at the five-star Hilton Resort & Spa for the next 5 nights.

These day’s Hua Hin is a thriving town with great waterfront accommodation, numerous restaurants and has become a fantastic golf destination with 6 championship courses, including two world class layouts, both voted the best in Asia over the past 8 years Banyan Resort and Black Mountain, Black Mountain is the venue for a European tour event.

The Thailand Golf Classic is an annual tournament played over 3 rounds on three of Asia’s finest courses, this is an individual and team’s tournament, invitations are for teams of (4 players) to compete. The event is limited to the first 10 teams entered (40 players), for those people who don’t have a team and wish to enter individually the organisers will endeavor to place you into a team for the team’s event.

All competitors will stay at the beautiful Hua Hin Hilton Resort & Spa for 5 nights during the tournament then onto the Westin Grande Hotel in Bangkok for 2 nights. As many people will have traveled for more than 12 hours to get to Thailand, day one is a rest day with an opportunity to have a look around the local area before the tournament starts.

The Thailand Golf Classic tournament will take place April 1st , 2nd & 3rd  the first round will be played at the Jack Nicklaus designed Royal Springfield, second round at Banyan Country Club and final round at Black Mountain. After three rounds of competition on fantastic golf courses it will time to present the prizes at the tournament dinner.

The next morning, we travel back towards Bangkok and a round at one of Asia’s best new course “Nikanti” we played this course the last three years, it’s amazing. After golf and dinner, we make our way the Westin Grande Hotel in Bangkok city. The final round of the tour is at Alpine Country Club, a private course in Bangkok former Jonnie Walker Classic venue and considered as one of the best private courses in Asia.

International golf courses in Vietnam and Cambodia like most Asian countries provide caddies and carts for all players. (Which is included in your tour cost)

Please be aware caddies are normally clothed, fed and in some cases housed by the golf course.
