The hotel is nestled in natural bluffs overlooking the silky white sands of Hapuna Beach. In ancient times on the resort site, freshwater springs bubbled to the surface during heavy rainfall. These artesian fountains provided respite and renewal for travelers along the Kohala Coast, hence, the area is named Hāpuna or “spring” (“Spring of life”) in the Hawaiian language. You may just like to spend a few extra days at the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel where we have secured special room rates for three days prior to or three days after the event.
Alternatively, you could take a short flight to O‘ahu and spend some time in Waikīkī. We recommend the Prince Waikīkī Hotel, where every room has an ocean view and you are short walk from great shopping at Ala Moana Shopping centre and many fantastic restaurants.
There is also always another opportunity for more golf at The Hawai‘i Prince Golf Course if you wish.
In most cases PGA Professionals will be organising their team of three Amateurs. However, there will be a number of teams looking for extra players. If you are not part of an organised team, please let us know and we can do our best to find you a spot in the event.
If you have a team of three amateurs we will find a professional for your team .
