The Air New Zealand Koru Club & Airpoints Pro- Am is now in its 16th year
This event has become a yearly highlight for many people and once again last year's event was a sell out.
The 2012 tournament will return to the Denarau Golf
& Racquet Club in Fiji on the South Pacific's premier resort island.
We have made a slight change to the format for 2012 by
playing the first day, which is the Sulu Soot Out fun event at the World
Class Natadola Bay course.
You don't have to be a professional or a low handicap golfer to play in this event, the tournament is open to men and women who have an official handicap. So if you enjoy playing golf, staying at an award winning international resort, meeting great people and having a really good time, don't miss this event!
OUTSTANDING EVENT & ENTERTAINMENT
This event has become famous not only for the great pro-am golf tournament but also for the off course entertainment enjoyed by the competitors, non players, wives and partners. There are a number of social functions including cocktail parties and a sweepstakes evening; however the highlight for many of those who have attended is the grand finale themed costume banquet dinner. Every year there's a new theme and everyone receives a hand made costume to wear.
In 2011 Superman & Wonder Woman took
centre stage, 2010 the Beach Party theme was a real hit, in 2009 Cave
men and women in 2008 Arch Bishops and Naughty Nuns 2007 Caesar &
Cleopatra, before that Bedrock, many will remember "Rumble in the Jungle
others have included Bare Foot Black Tie and Jail House Rock.

FANTASTIC RESORT HOTELS
Denarau Island is 20 minutes drive from Nadi
International Airport; there are 8 International hotels, a championship
golf course, numerous water sports, marine village with many restaurants
and shops. This year the host hotel is the 5 star Sheraton Fiji
Resort, It's FANTASTIC! As a special offer for friends traveling

GREAT GOLF
The first round for 2012 will be played at the world class VJ Singh inspired Natadola Bay course.
The two rounds of the Pro-Am tournament will be played
at Denarau Golf Course which is the perfect venue for this event. A
great resort course and highly rated by professional and amateur
golfers, the layout is not difficult but it is always a good test of
skills, with water coming into play on many holes.
EXCITING TOURNAMENT
For those attending the Pro- Am for the first time, this event has it all. To start proceedings there is the Sheraton welcome cocktail party, where players and non players will be presented with a special tournament gift pack. The next morning after breakfast we will transfer by coach to the world class Natadola Bay golf course. Before you try your luck on this fantastic course you may wish to sharpen up your game at the golf clinic and demonstration conducted by leading golf professionals. Then it's the "Sulu Shoot Out", a fun tournament for the amateurs.
The two rounds of the Pro-Am event will be played at Denarau Golf Course which is only 100 meters from your hotel. You will be joined by the golf professionals from USA, Australia, Pacific Islands and New Zealand for the two day Pro-Am. This is a fun pro-am event; you could be playing with someone like Mark Brown or Mike Hendry who are both multiple winners of this event and gone on to win major tournaments in Asia . The South Pacific Tour has been a breeding ground for great players. Fiji's own V J Singh along with many other famous golfers including Greg Norman started their careers playing in Fiji.
